Render Conf Scholarship Scheme

We know that not everyone who wants to come to Render will be able to afford it. We want to open the doors to Render to people who would not normally be able attend, which is why we have put aside a number of tickets to offer as part of our Scholarship scheme. Successful applicants will receive access to all content on both days, food, drink and all the trimmings! In some cases, we are able to provide travel and accommodation.

As an added bonus, we are borrowing this brilliant idea from RubyConf (thanks RubyConf!) and pairing any scholars who want one with a guide. A guide is an experienced member of the community and will be a friendly face at the conference, there to help make sure you get the best out of your conference experience and to introduce you to other people at the event.

We are particularly excited to hear from those who are from underrepresented groups in tech or perhaps you work for a charity, do lots of work in your community or are just starting out in the industry. We will award tickets to people who can show that the knowledge gained will be useful for their ongoing career.

All applications will be assessed by the organising team and successful applicants will be notified by email within three weeks of application closing on 4th March. Free tickets can only be given in a limited number and the organisers’ decision is final and cannot be appealed.
